  • Activity Level: Easy

We enthusiastically announce our 2018 Gettysburg All-Star Conference & Tour, which promises to be OUR BEST YET! Designed for serious yet fun-loving students of the Gettysburg Campaign, our program will include an all-day Friday tour of Lee’s Retreat from Gettysburg, led by Gary Kross, a Saturday afternoon tour of The Wheatfield, led by Jay Jorgensen, a Sunday morning tour on Another Look at Culp’s Hill, led by Charles Fennell. and three engaging high-quality talks on Saturday morning at the 1863 Inn of Gettysburg by John D. Hoptak, Tom McMillan and Carol Reardon.

Two spirited social events will further enliven our three-day adventure. On Friday evening, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, we will host an Open Bar at the popular pub O’Rorke’s, just across the street from our hotel. You’ll be on your own for food, but we’ll treat for the drinks. And on Saturday evening, at the nearby home of Roger and Lynn Heller, we will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner after which we'll present The Donald A. Weiland Spirit of Gettysburg Award, given annually to an individual or individuals for “contributions of support and congeniality to the CWEA's Gettysburg programs.” Some "home-brewed" entertainment will cap off a memorable evening.
